I'm using the TNE setting (including maps and 1201 world data I found online)

I'm using the MGT rules (I originally called it MTV, but I think that is used somewhere... Wink )

Could someone help me with exactly what I need to adapt?

Converting to MGT should not pose a problem unless you plan to convert designs from FF&S as how the equipment are stated and designed are different in all aspects.
The setting should be possible to use without much work.

However, if you plan to use MGT character generation and task system and then use equipment from FF&S it should go pretty well. The only thing that may be a challenge is that weapons can do a lot more damage (if designed properly) and that armour may have different armor value depending on location.
I am not sure how MGT handles hit points, but I expect with some work this should be possible to use FF&S weapons and MGT stats/hitpoints.

I've bought MGT a week ago, and saturday we play with its rules for the first time (still in our old Reformation Coalition campaign).

As far as I have seen, conversion of hit points should be no problem at all. I guess I try a one-to-one system, meaning: One TNE damage point equals one damage point in MGT. This will definitely raise the danger level of a fire-fight in my campaign  Cool.

And for those of us who are not so gear-heady - there's still the possibility to change the TNE-laser rifle to a MGT-laser rifle...

Does the MGT laser rifles penetrate metal armor?
